“Who advised you to plead guilty”– Aisha Yesufu

Social activist Aisha Yesufu has pointed the finger at well-known crossdresser Bobrisky for admitting guilt to charges related to the mutilation of the Nigerian currency.

Justice Abimbola Awogboro sentenced Bobrisky to six months in prison with no option of paying a fine last Friday. The controversial public figure has been held in custody by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) since being apprehended last week.

Bobrisky was arrested and charged by the EFCC for engaging in activities related to the mutilation of the Nigerian currency. On April 5th, Bobrisky pleaded guilty to four counts of currency abuse that were levied against him by the anti-corruption agency.

In a recent post, Aisha expressed her concerns about the situation and questioned Bobrisky’s role in these events.

“We just have a jungle where anything goes because some people’s morality is offended.

“If Bobrisky has crimes he has committed, prosecute him on those and not these selective prosecution.”
