Rachel Edward, a former Big Brother Naija housemate, has strongly recommended that women should avoid dating men who earn a monthly income of N800,000 or less, particularly in Lagos.
In her opinion, this level of salary is inadequate to support a woman. She stressed that such a salary would not be able to cover expenses beyond purchasing a wig.
On her X handle, she wrote,
“As a lady, you can’t settle for a man with N800,000 as salary in lagos. One wig and your man’s salary is finished baby girl.”
“What will N800,000 do for you in this economy? That money is too small.”
