Woman Alleges Deeper Life Ex-Mother-in-Law Ignored Her C-Section Pain, Pressured Early Hospital Discharge
A Nigerian woman, Abilo Lovelyn Bunenizibe, has accused her ex-mother-in-law, a member of Deeper Life, of mistreating her during pregnancy and after her Caesarean section.
According to Abilo, the woman deliberately starved her while pregnant and dismissed her post-surgery pain as fake, even urging the hospital to discharge her early to reduce her son’s medical expenses.
Sharing screenshots of messages, Abilo claimed that the woman, despite being a devoted Christian and evangelist, acted harshly due to her conflicts with her son.
She wrote, “A woman of God who, after my Caesarean section, told me I was faking my pain… and asked the hospital to discharge me quickly because, in her words, the longer I stay, the more her son spends money.” Abilo also alleged that the ex-mother-in-law held prejudiced beliefs about her family, calling them witches.
The revelation has sparked public discussions about family dynamics, respect for medical care, and the pressures some women face during pregnancy. Social media users have weighed in, urging compassion for mothers navigating challenging relationships while recovering from childbirth.
