Woman Loses Pregnancy After Contracting STD From Cheating Husband, Then Beaten Unconscious
A harrowing account has surfaced online detailing the story of a Nigerian woman who lost her pregnancy after contracting a sexually transmitted disease (STD) from her unfaithful husband only to be beaten unconscious months later by the same man.
The incident was brought to light by the victim’s close friend in a viral post on X (formerly Twitter), where she exposed the man’s pattern of infidelity, domestic violence, gaslighting, and neglect. According to the post, the woman’s rushed marriage in 2023 soon turned into a nightmare.
Her husband, who allegedly maintained ties with his baby mama, kept visiting their old home and exposed his wife to repeated infections. Eventually, she lost her pregnancy due to complications from the STD.
In February 2024, the situation worsened. The woman was rushed to the hospital after reportedly being beaten until she lost consciousness. Her husband dismissed the assault as an asthma attack. Medical staff confirmed visible injuries—bruises, swollen lips, bleeding gums.
“He beat her. He gaslighted her. He knew she was already grieving the death of her sister, yet he added to her pain,” her friend wrote.
Despite the trauma, the woman remained silent, hoping for peace. But her friend insists the silence must end, saying she has evidence—screenshots, voice notes, and photos—to back up the claims.
This disturbing story has sparked outrage, renewing calls for urgent attention to domestic abuse and women’s rights in Nigeria.
