Woman Shares Heartbreaking Ordeal with Married Lover Who Made False Promises

A woman has opened up about her painful experience in a long-term relationship with a married man who repeatedly promised to marry her once his ailing wife passed away.

The relationship, which began in 2018, saw the couple welcome two children in 2019 and 2021. She believed his assurances that she would eventually replace his wife, who he claimed was gravely ill.

Despite years of waiting, the man’s wife remained alive, and whenever the woman questioned him, he would respond that “everything is in God’s hands.” Frustrated, she ended the relationship in 2023, though the man continued supporting their children.

Late last year, the man informed her that his wife had been hospitalized for three weeks, giving her hope that they could finally be together. Encouraged, she reconciled with him, and in April 2024, she became pregnant with their third child. However, she was devastated when he later revealed that his wife had recovered and returned home, claiming they now slept in separate bedrooms.

The woman, who wished to remain anonymous, described her experience as a cycle of false hope and broken promises. She admitted to being patient for years but now feels trapped and uncertain about her future.

Her emotional account highlights the challenges of navigating relationships with married partners and the heartbreak that can come from misplaced trust.
