Yhemolee Responds to Marital Crisis Rumours After Cryptic Social Media Posts
Popular Nigerian entertainer and influencer Yhemolee has broken his silence on swirling rumours about a possible crisis in his marriage to his wife, Thayour.
The speculation was sparked by a series of cryptic messages shared by the entertainer on social media. In one post, Yhemolee advised men not to “die for any woman,” claiming such sacrifices often end in regret.
In another, he wrote about the transformative nature of solitude, saying, “Isolation initially looks like punishment, but something powerful happens in the silence.”
These posts quickly fueled online gossip, with many concluding that the couple who tied the knot less than a year ago were facing serious marital issues.
However, in a sharp-toned response on Thursday, Yhemolee dismissed the claims and criticized what he called “online in-laws” eager for scandal.
“I wasn’t expecting any less. Since they couldn’t get any gist from me, they decided to cook up madness for themselves,” he said, mocking public interest in his private life.
He went on to use the popular Netflix series The King’s Affection as a metaphor, pointing out that the male characters all perished while the women survived, suggesting that men need to prioritize their mental health and personal well-being.
Yhemolee also addressed a viral video of a man emotionally breaking down due to relationship issues, condemning what he described as the heartless reactions from female commenters, calling them “daughters of Jezebel.”
“Even if I were having a crisis, is it jobless people who haven’t eaten since yesterday that I should inform?” he quipped. “My family is living fine meanwhile, some of you are crying in Ijegun.”
With this, Yhemolee appears to be setting the record straight: whatever is going on behind the scenes, he’s not ready to make it public, and he won’t be swayed by online commentary.
