“Your Dream Is Valid”: Nigerian Lady Celebrates Oxford Master’s Degree With Viral Before & After Photos

Joanna Abodunrin, a brilliant Nigerian scholar, has warmed hearts online after sharing her inspiring journey from Kaduna to Oxford, where she recently earned a Master’s degree in Law and Finance.

In a post made on Monday, August 4, 2025, Joanna shared emotional before-and-after photos to mark her academic transformation, celebrating a journey that began with uncertainty and ended with a top academic prize at the prestigious University of Oxford in the United Kingdom.

The proud scholar revealed she was awarded the Best Performance Prize in Corporate Finance Law, a significant achievement in her postgraduate program.

Joanna’s academic brilliance has long been evident. In 2022, she graduated with First Class Honours from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), where she was named Best Graduating Student in the Faculty of Law.
