Amaechi: Nigerian Politicians Are Here to Steal, Harm, and Cling to Power – Don’t Expect Tinubu to Relinquish Control

Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has accused Nigerian politicians of prioritizing personal gain and power over the welfare of citizens.

Amaechi claimed that politicians are only interested in “stealing, maiming, and killing” to remain in power, citing the short memory of Nigerians as a contributing factor .

He emphasized that Nigerians’ lack of collective action and willingness to defend their votes allows politicians to operate with impunity.

Amaechi also expressed skepticism about President Bola Tinubu’s willingness to relinquish power, stating that those who expect change from him are “wasting their time.”
