APC Chieftain in Benue condemns assault on party chairman

Barr Ochai Onazi, the Ado Local Government Area Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State, has strongly criticized the brutal assault on the acting party chairman, Comrade Josiah Owobi, during a meeting with ward executives and other party stakeholders in Akpoge/Ogbilolo council ward of Agila District.

Onazi expressed his disapproval of the attack, deeming it unnecessary and unjustified.

He commended the acting chairman’s decision to undertake a familiarisation tour of the ten council wards within the local government and questioned why his visit to Akpoge/Ogbilolo ward, where he was supposed to conclude the tour, was marred by hired hoodlums from the area.

Onazi emphasized that such uncivilized behavior should not be repeated and urged members of the party in Akpoge/Ogbilolo council ward to remain united, view themselves as a cohesive group, and reject any actions that could divide them.
