Basketmouth will forever remain my enemy-AY

AY, a popular Nollywood actor and comedian, has announced that he no longer wants to reconcile with his long-standing rival, Basketmouth. The two entertainers have been involved in a 17-year-old feud stemming from an alleged N30,000 debt owed to AY by Basketmouth. However, Basketmouth has denied the debt and stated that they were never friends. During a recent interview with Teju Babyface, AY mentioned that he had put in considerable effort over the years to reconcile with Basketmouth. He even sought advice from senior colleagues in the comedy industry, who eventually told him to stop trying so hard as friendship should not be forced. AY also stated that he had made futile attempts to reconcile during his last stand-up comedy routine by publicly referring to Basketmouth as his friend. However, this led to further controversy rather than reconciliation. Now, AY has decided to let go of any efforts to reconcile with Basketmouth. He explained that he is no longer pushing for reconciliation and that he would be content even if he went to his grave without ever making amends with his rival.
