Court Postpones Ruling on Challenge to APC Candidate in Ogun LG Elections to November 13

A Federal High Court in Abeokuta has postponed a case aimed at invalidating the nomination of Olusola Akinbode as the APC candidate for the Yewa North Council chairmanship ahead of the November 16 local government elections.

Plaintiff Gbenga Akinwande is contesting the validity of Akinbode’s candidacy, claiming he did not undergo the necessary screening process required by APC guidelines.
