Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido has responded humorously to a fan’s unusual request that he ditch private jets and travel on commercial flights during his upcoming Nigerian tour.

In a recent Instagram story, Davido shared a direct message from a follower who urged him to “humble” fellow entertainers by flying commercial for a month.

The fan claimed Davido’s frequent use of private jets had influenced other artists and suggested the singer could reverse the trend with a symbolic protest.

Davido’s reaction a string of laughing emojis showed he found the proposal amusing but had no intention of taking it seriously.

Meanwhile, the award-winning musician also made headlines for spoiling his wife, Chioma, with a brand-new 2025 electric Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon.

Viral clips online captured the lavish car delivery and Chioma’s emotional response, as Davido explained he only buys “the best” for her.
