As the curtains draw on the year 2023, the accomplishments of Hon. Sam Chimaobi Atu, the esteemed representative of Enugu North and South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, stand as a testament to visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to progress.

Since taking the oath of office on June 13, 2023, Hon. Atu has charted an impressive course, navigating the complex landscape of federal legislation with grace and determination.

Breaking ground as the first opposition lawmaker to move a motion in the current House of Representatives, Hon. Atu has set a precedent for principled and assertive representation.

Presenting a suite of 13 quality bills, including proposals for the establishment of the National Coal Commission in Enugu and the Federal Medical Centre in Enugu, Hon. Atu has demonstrated a keen understanding of the region’s needs, propelling these bills through the critical First Reading stage.

At the heart of Hon. Atu’s vision lies a commitment to grassroots development. Grading and implementing palliative measures on 7 rural roads and 2 semi-rural roads, such as the Maryland-Monarch-Ndiagu Amechi link road and Ndafuafa-Obeagu Ugwuaji road, have not only improved connectivity but also enhanced the daily lives of his constituents.

Taking a bold step towards safer and brighter communities, Hon. Atu spearheaded the installation of solar street lights in over 15 locations within the constituency. These lights serve as beacons of progress, fostering security and visibility.

Beyond legislative accomplishments, Hon. Atu’s commitment to nurturing talent and fostering unity is evident in the successful organization and sponsorship of the Hon. Chimaobi Atu Under 15 football tournament in Enugu. The triumph of the Enugu team, not only at the National School Tournament in Abuja but also at the Continental School Tournament in Togo, echoes the success of this initiative.

With a fully functional Constituency office and a dedicated staff of 27 senior and 6 mid-level professionals, Hon. Atu has established a hub for progress in both Abuja and Enugu. This investment in human resources is a testament to his unwavering commitment to effective representation.

As the attached documents meticulously detail these achievements, compiled by a reputable media group, Hon.
