“I will never join PDP, but join other parties if…..”- Nasir El-Rufai.

Nasir El-Rufai, the former Governor of Kaduna State, has made it clear that he will never join the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), despite speculation about his defection.

In a recent interview on Arise TV, El-Rufai stated that his meetings with politicians from other parties have been misinterpreted, and that he has no intention of leaving the All Progressives Congress (APC) .

However, El-Rufai did leave room for possible realignment if the APC fails to address its internal challenges. He emphasized that while he will never join the PDP, he might consider other options if the APC doesn’t “sort itself out” .

El-Rufai’s comments come amid ongoing speculation about his political future, including reports that he recently met with PDP leaders in Kaduna.

The former governor confirmed the meeting but maintained that it was not politically motivated .
