Linda Ikeji Refutes Claims of Changing Her Son’s Last Name.

Renowned media personality Linda Ikeji has set the record straight, dismissing speculation that she altered her son Jayce’s surname.


The rumors emerged after she shared a vacation post featuring her son and nephew, where she referred to Jayce using her last name.


However, some online users misinterpreted this, assuming she had changed his surname from his father’s, Sholaye Jeremi’s, to hers.


In response, Linda Ikeji clarified that her son’s surname has always been hers, and it’s up to him to decide whether to change it when he reaches adulthood.

She wrote:

, “Just to be clear. I’ve never ever had to change my son’s surname.

“He’s been an Ikeji right from when he was born! Where do I have the time or patience to be changing names?

“Changing it and keeping his surname (Ikeji) will be up to him when he ages. Food for my Junior colleagues”.
