“Monogamy doesn’t work, every man should have multiple women”– Seun Kuti

Nigerian artist Seun Kuti shared his views on monogamy, suggesting that it is an ineffective relationship model.

He advocated for men to consider polygamy, stating that it is more empowering for a man to have multiple partners.

During an appearance on the ‘Bahd & Boujee’ podcast, Seun emphasized that having multiple female partners can symbolize authority and wealth.

He said,

“Monogamy doesn’t work. As a powerful man, you must have the support of numerous powerful goddesses. You know, women that are in your life because the ancestors want to put them there. You share with them.”
