“Mr Ibu wasn’t amputated on both legs” – Family discloses

Nigerian actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, has provided a clarification regarding rumors of him undergoing amputation on both legs.

Contrary to the information shared by the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Dr Emeka Rollas, Mr Ibu’s family took to his Instagram page to address the situation and set the record straight.

According to the family, there was indeed a second amputation, but it was performed on the same leg that had previously undergone amputation.

Contrary to speculation, Mr Ibu is not diabetic. Instead, he has been experiencing constant blood clotting in his leg due to diseased blood vessels and other health challenges that put his life at risk.

Despite this setback, his family assures everyone that he is on the path to recovery. They kindly request his friends, colleagues, fans, and the Nigerian public to keep him in their prayers and refrain from spreading unverified information about his health.
