PDP Chieftain Labels APC “Gang of Zombies”

Segun Sowunmi, a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has strongly criticized the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing it as a “gang of zombies” rather than a legitimate political party. Sowunmi made these comments on Channels TV’s Politics Today, questioning the APC’s claim to being a political party.

He emphasized that the PDP had recently conducted congresses across the country, whereas the APC’s last congress was unclear. Sowunmi also highlighted the APC’s tendency to arbitrarily remove chairmen and replace them without democratic processes.

This criticism comes amidst Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day celebrations, with various political parties reflecting on the country’s progress and challenges.
