PDP Governors’ Forum meeting attracts Govs Bala Mohammed, Fubara, Makinde, and 6 more to Enugu.

The PDP Governors Forum, consisting of 13 governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, is holding a meeting in Enugu. Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State welcomed the participating governors, including the Chairman of the Forum, Senator Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State.

Other governors present were from Rivers, Oyo, Akwa-Ibom, Delta, Edo, Plateau, Taraba, Zamfara, and Adamawa. The governors of Osun and Bayelsa states were expected to arrive later.

The agenda for the meeting was undisclosed, but topics such as party congresses, the upcoming governorship elections in Edo and Ondo, internal challenges facing the PDP, and the state of the nation were expected to be discussed.

The PDP Governors Forum was established in 2013 to facilitate the sharing of ideas and coordination of programmes and policies among PDP governors. Prior to the meeting, the host governor, Dr. Mbah, organized a cultural night to honor the visiting governors.
