The member representing Nkanu East Constituency in the Enugu State House of Assembly, Hon. Okechukwu Anthony Mbah, has commended Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for the smooth conduct of the state congresses of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu State.
The PDP successfully concluded its congresses on Saturday, August 31, 2024, resulting in the emergence of new state executives, led by Dr. Martins Chinwike as the State Chairman. In a press statement signed by Hon. Mbah, he praised Governor Mbah for his exceptional leadership, which ensured the success of the congresses, reflecting the governor’s ability to harmonize various interests within the party.
Hon. Mbah also noted that the PDP has proven itself as a unified and strong party, ready to tackle future electoral challenges. He expressed confidence in the newly elected state executive members, emphasizing their capacity and competence to lead the party to more victories.
In particular, Hon. Mbah extended special congratulations to the newly elected State Chairman, Dr. Martins Chukwunwike, describing him as a loyal and experienced leader whose emergence will contribute to the growth of the PDP in Enugu State. He also congratulated other elected officials, including Hon. Chukwudi Nnadozie, the State Secretary; Barr Steve Orurua, the Deputy Chairman; and members from his constituency, such as Hon. Patrick Okoh, the State Treasurer; Hon. Nnamdi Nwafor, the State Vice Chairman for Enugu East Zone; and Deacon K.C. Agwu, the Assistant Legal Adviser.
Hon. Mbah urged all party members to support the PDP’s vision and Governor Mbah’s people-oriented projects to strengthen the party’s influence and ensure continuous progress in Enugu State.
