PDP Urges Nigerian Government to Focus on Citizens’ Welfare During Eid-el-Maulud.

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has urged governments at all levels to focus on the needs of citizens by directing resources toward projects and initiatives that directly enhance the welfare of Nigerians.

On the occasion of Eid-el-Maulud, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, issued this call in Abuja, particularly extending wishes to the Muslim community.

Ologunagba requested the Federal Government to reevaluate its policies, including the recent increases in petroleum prices, taxes, and tariffs, which have had significant repercussions for the populace.

He encouraged leaders whose actions have caused hardship for citizens to reflect on their decisions during this period of celebration.

As he extended festive greetings to Nigerians, Ologunagba urged them to renew their commitment to national renewal in the face of economic challenges and insecurity.

He also called on citizens to seek spiritual guidance and support one another during these trying times.

Eid-el-Maulud provides a unique opportunity for humanity, especially Nigerian leaders, to reflect on their actions and align with the teachings and principles exemplified in the life of the Holy Prophet Mohammed (SAW).

“The PDP calls on the Federal Government to eliminate waste, tackle corruption, and prioritize the needs of citizens by focusing resources on initiatives that genuinely benefit the populace.

“Our party encourages Nigerians to remain patient, hopeful, and to express love for one another while seeking divine intervention in the country’s affairs.

“The PDP celebrates Eid-el-Maulud with the citizens and wishes them joyful festivities,” Ologunagba concluded.
