“PDP’ll die if Atiku emerges presidential candidate”– Primate Ayodele

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the spiritual leader of the INRI evangelical church, has issued a warning to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) against selecting former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as its presidential candidate in 2027.

According to Primate Ayodele, if the PDP chooses Atiku, the party will fail and ultimately die. He believes that Atiku is not the right choice for the PDP and that his selection would be a victory for the opposing party, the APC.

Atiku has made multiple unsuccessful attempts to become Nigeria’s president, with his most recent defeat occurring in the 2023 elections where he came in second place behind President Bola Tinubu.
