Police Re-Arrest Mohbad’s Friend, Primeboy.

The Lagos State Police Command has re-arrested Afrobeat singer Ibrahim Owodunni, also known as Primeboy, in connection to the death of Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad.

According to reports from Punch, Primeboy was taken into custody on Tuesday morning during a visit to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Panti, Yaba, accompanied by a witness named Ayobami Fisayo, who goes by the nickname Spending.

Mohbad passed away on September 12 under suspicious circumstances, sparking outrage and calls for a police investigation to hold those responsible accountable.

In the wake of his death, singer Naira Marley, Lagos socialite Balogun Eletu (Sam Larry), and Primeboy, among others, were initially detained and later released on bail.

Primeboy and Spending have been asked to regularly visit the SCID as part of the ongoing investigation into the tragic death of Mohbad.
