Popular TikToker Ego, sentenced to prison.

Popular Tiktoker, Okoye Blessing Nwakego, also known as Ego, who accused Eniola Badmus of connecting girls to top politicians in Nigeria, has been sentenced to prison.

A Federal High Court in Lagos sentenced Ego to three years imprisonment with the option of a fine of N150,000 on Wednesday.

Justice Nicholas Oweibo convicted Ego after she pleaded guilty to a two-count charge of cyberstalking.

It was alleged that Ego and one Chimabia, now at large, conspired to commit the offence between December 2022 and July 2023 in Lagos. It added that the offence contravened sections 24 (1) (b), (2) (a) (c), and 27 of the Cybercrimes Act, 2015.

It was recalled that Ego had, in July, in a viral video on social media, accused Badmus of connecting ladies to Nigerian politicians for prostitution.
