Tiwa Savage, a highly-acclaimed Afrobeat singer and songwriter, has recently made waves with a surprising and electrifying announcement.

Taking to social media, Tiwa Savage excitedly revealed that she will be gracing the silver screen for the very first time in her upcoming film, “Water and Garri,” set to be released later this year.

The singer further revealed that this remarkable movie will captivate audiences across the globe, as it is slated to be available in over 240 countries through the renowned streaming platform, Amazon Prime Video.

She wrote:

“Guys, I’m so excited to announce that my first feature film #WaterAndGarri will be released this year through @primevideo and shown in over 240 countries and territories worldwide!

“This has been over two years in the making and I must say this is probably one of the most adventurous, fulfilling things I’ve done. I feel blessed and honoured to not only be making my debut as a lead actor but to have also executively produced this film.
