Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai is a brilliant and ambitious lawyer whose exceptional career trajectory has led him to state service.
Born and raised in Ezimo, Udenu, LGA, Enugu State, Barr. Ifeanyi exhibited an unflinching passion for the coveted legal profession at a very young age.
He is happily married to Mrs Ada Ossai( nee Igboji), and their marriage is blessed with a beautiful daughter.
After completing his early education with outstanding academic achievements; he made distinction in FSLC at Ezimo Uno Primary School and nine A’s in SSCE at Ibagwa Ezimo Uno Secondary School. Barr. Ossai pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Law at University of Nigeria Nsukka and thereafter obtained his Master’s Degree at University of Essex, United Kingdom. His exceptional legal acumen quickly became evident as he consistently topped his class and actively participated in moot court competitions, honing his advocacy skills.
Upon graduation, Barr. Osssia joined a prestigious law firm, Pearl Partnership. Pearl Partnership is a law firm established by the duo of Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai and Barr. Osita Ndu, with its head office at Wuse zone 2, Abuja. It’s still in full operation till date, with its staff drawn essentially from the pool of lawyers of Enugu extraction, where he quickly made a name for himself. His strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to grasp complex legal concepts garnered recognition and respect from His colleagues and clients alike.
Driven by a desire to contribute to society beyond the courtroom, Barr. Ossai actively engaged in pro bono services, advocating for underprivileged individuals and marginalized communities. This commitment to social justice earned him admiration within the legal community and reinforced his reputation as a compassionate advocate for the downtrodden.
Recognizing Barr. Ossai’s potential for leadership, several influential figures encouraged him to enter politics and pursue a career in public service. His foray into politics had been a huge success. Inspired by the opportunity to effect positive change on a larger scale, Barr. Ossai decided to embrace the challenge.
He served under different political administrations where he gained wide experience and learned the dynamics of leadership. Little wonder, he was chosen by Barr. Peter Mbah and Enugu State People’s Democratic Party, to run as Deputy Governor in 2023 general election.
Barr. Ossai campaigned vigorously during the Governorship elections. His eloquence, intellect, and ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds resonated with voters, propelling them to a resounding victory.
His exceptional leadership qualities, combined with their unwavering commitment to public service, has made him a role model for aspiring young lawyers and politicians.
As the young bright lawyer turned Deputy Governor, today, it is our prayers that his vision, intellect, and unwavering commitment to public service, continues to shape a brighter future for the state and its citizens.
