Veteran Nollywood Actor Asa Koko Passes Away After Prolonged Illness

Asa Koko, a renowned actor in Nollywood, has died following a lengthy struggle with an unspecified illness. His passing was confirmed in an Instagram tribute by fellow actor Kunle Afod on Thursday.

In the heartfelt post, Afod shared a video of his visit to Koko’s home before his death, expressing his condolences with the words, “May his soul rest in peace. Asa Koko. It’s a WRAP.”

The video depicted Koko with a swollen leg, recounting his hospital experience and difficulties he faced during treatment.

He mentioned, “I was hospitalized at Island, battling with injuries on my legs. The state governor even came to visit me during my treatment.”
