Yahaya Bello Presents Himself to EFCC Again

Former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello has honored the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s (EFCC) invitation for the second time, following a Supreme Court judgment that dismissed states’ case on the constitutionality of the anti-graft agency.

Bello arrived at the EFCC office in Abuja on Tuesday morning, accompanied by his lawyers, and drove himself in a black Hilux.

This development comes after the EFCC declared him wanted in April over alleged money laundering to the tune of N80.2 billion.

The EFCC chairman, Ola Olukoyede, has alleged that Bello withdrew $720,000 from Kogi State funds to pay his child’s school fees in advance.
