Governor Peter Ndubisi Mbah of Enugu State has been praised for remembering the good people of Mburubu in his infrastructural revolution in the state.

The Chief Executive Officer of First Choice Afro Villa Ltd and Mburubu Construction Company, Chief Dr. Jerry Patrick Onuokaibe, made this known on Sunday in a viral video which he posted on his social media platforms.

He stated that, since the history of the community, government presence had always been a challenge as successive administrations neglected them, but Governor Peter Ndubisi Mbah came on board and they began to receive the dividends of democracy.

Standing on the ongoing road construction in Mburubu, which also has double drainage, Dr. Onuokaibe said it is a sign of better things to come as Governor Mbah has commenced the construction of the 12.96km Nomeh-Mburubu-Nara Road as well as the 7.20km Mburubu-Nkereffi Road.

He also stated that the current infrastructural projects have not only brought relief to the residents but have also opened up economic opportunities, enhancing transportation, commerce, and social interactions among neighboring communities.

According to him, such development strides have given the people a renewed sense of belonging in the affairs of Enugu State.

Dr. Onuokaibe called on youths, stakeholders, and the entire Mburubu people to safeguard and support the ongoing projects, ensuring they are completed successfully for the benefit of generations to come by giving the contractors the necessary support, especially on security.

He maintained that Mburubu is now fully integrated into the developmental map of the state, thanks to Governor Mbah’s purposeful leadership.

While congratulating Governor Peter Ndubisi Mbah ahead of his 53rd birthday, which comes up on March 17th, Dr. Onuokaibe prayed for more wisdom and strength for the Governor to continue piloting the affairs of the state with great success. He described Mbah’s leadership as people-oriented and urged Enugu citizens to keep supporting his administration.
