13 opposition parties affirm their participation as IPAC scores EBSIEC high.

The leadership of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) in Ebonyi State praised the preparations of the Ebonyi State Independent Electoral Commission (EBSIEC) for the upcoming local government election.


The IPAC members analyzed the activities of EBSIEC and concluded that they were satisfied with the processes and preparations for the election. They scored EBSIEC above 80% and expressed their intention to fully participate in the exercise.

The Chairman of IPAC in Ebonyi State, Ernest Nwaze, commended the preparations of EBSIEC for the forthcoming local government election.


He expressed satisfaction with the processes followed by EBSIEC and highlighted the financial support provided by the governor. Nwaze stated that EBSIEC has been conducting its activities in a transparent and inclusive manner, involving all political parties.


IPAC members rated EBSIEC above 80% and declared that all political parties would participate in the election due to the favorable conditions created by EBSIEC and the state government.


The State Commissioner for Inter-Party Affairs, Philip Ogbonna Okorie, called on all candidates from different political parties to ensure a peaceful and harmonious election process.

The Special Assistant to the state governor on Inter-Party Affairs, Comrade Sunday Nwambam, described IPAC as a conference that includes all political parties. He disclosed that more than 13 political parties have expressed interest in participating in the election.

Nwambam assured that the government would provide a fair and level playing field for all political parties participating in the local government election.

He stated that the government would not hinder any political party from contesting the election, emphasizing the importance of a democratic and inclusive electoral process
