256-member campaign council headed by Oshiomhole.

In preparation for the upcoming governorship election in Edo State, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the formation of a 256-member State Campaign Council.

The former governor of the state, Adams Oshiomhole, will serve as the Chairman of the council. The acting chairman, Jarrett Tenebe, revealed this information in a statement released on Wednesday in Benin.

Sen. Matthew Urhoghide has been appointed as the Director-General of the Campaign Council, with Joe Ugheoke assuming the role of Campaign Council Secretary.

Other important members of the council include Peter Akpatason as Deputy Director-General of Operations and Mike Onolememen as Deputy Director-General of Administration.

“Chief Lucky Imasuen, Odi Okogie and Abu Lawani are Coordinators for Edo South, Edo Central and Edo North, respectively.

“The Campaign Council also has Mr Bisi Idaomi as Director of Administration, John Osakue as Director of Operations, while Samson Osagie is director of contacts”.
