Simon Ekpa Declares a 5-Day Sit-At -Home Order For The Release of Nnamdi Kanu.

Simon Ekpa, the Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government In-Exile (BRGIE), have declared a 5-day long sit-at-home in Southeast over the continuous detention of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Following the demand by the Biafra people for more sit-at-home civil disobedience, Simon Ekpa gives order to all Indigenous People of Biafra when he says, “The Biafra Republic Government In-Exile (BRGIE) and Biafra De Facto Government-In-Homeland wish to notify Biafrans that there will be sit-at-home civil disobedience starting from 15th December 2023 to 19th December 2023.”

He went further to explain the following reasons to which the sit-at-home order was made which includes:

  1. Demand the immediate and unconditional release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who remains illegally detained at the DSS dungeon and his next court date is on the 15th of December 2023.
  2. To Protest against Nigeria being officially addressed as an Islamic state by the United Kingdom Government as recently pronounced by the UK Secretary for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, Lord David Cameron. This is happening while Biafrans are not Muslims and can never be.

In the same vein, Simon Ekpa questions the Nigerians media for always omitting number 2 in all social media handles lamenting that the Nigeria media prefers to be an Islamic State.
