Abure extends olive branch to Peter Obi, Otti, and others, urging them to come back to the Labour Party.

The Chairman of the Labour Party, Abure, is appealing to party members such as Obi and Otti to come back to the party despite past disagreements.

Following a contentious convention that saw his reelection, which some party stakeholders opposed citing inclusivity concerns, Abure now seeks to mend fences.

Despite earlier attempts by Obi and others to establish a caretaker committee for a new convention, a court ruling affirmed Abure as the legitimate chairman, leading to ongoing efforts to reconcile with dissatisfied members.

Abure maintains that there is no crisis in the party and extends an olive branch to all estranged members, emphasizing that forgiveness has been extended to all who may have felt wronged.

He emphasizes the importance of unity within the party and encourages those who left to return, framing the Labour Party as a cohesive and welcoming family entity.
