Rapper Drake placed a significant wager on Israel Adesanya, nicknamed “The Last Stylebender,” to regain his middleweight title in the UFC championship match.
However, Adesanya was defeated via choke submission, dashing Drake’s hopes of a substantial payout. If Adesanya had emerged victorious, Drake would have collected a whopping $850,000. This latest loss adds to Drake’s reputation for making unsuccessful sports bets.
He has previously backed other fighters, including Alex Pereira, Nate Diaz, Leon Edwards, and Francis Ngannou in his bout against Anthony Joshua, only to see them lose as well.
