Habeeb Okikiola, a well-known street hop singer with a controversial reputation, also referred to as Portable, has recently acknowledged his romantic involvement with Queen Dami, the deceased spouse of the Alaafin of Oyo.
There were earlier speculations surrounding the singer’s connection with Queen Dami.
This development follows the surfacing of screenshots depicting their conversations, wherein they affectionately referred to each other as “my king” and “queen,” accompanied by love emojis.
When discussing his bond with Queen, the self-proclaimed Ika of Africa expressed in an interview on the Honest Bunch Podcast with On Air Personality, Nedu Wazobia, that “once you’re a king, you remain a king.”
In response to the rumors, Portable addressed the situation in a viral video on social media, stating, “Queen Dami has been a fan of mine since the beginning. However, after learning about the king’s passing, I want to clarify that I have always respected boundaries and would not pursue a relationship with someone who is married. I maintain my stance of not getting involved with another person’s spouse.”
