In the lead-up to the November 16 governorship election in Ondo State, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has declared that numerous chieftains from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have shifted their allegiance to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Aiyedatiwa remarked that the “umbrella” of the PDP is now in tatters, urging voters to reject the party at the polls. While campaigning in Ese Odo Local Government Area, he emphasized, “Use your votes to drive away other political parties. All the key players in the PDP are now aligned with us. Your vote should be for the APC.”
During his earlier visit to Igbobini, Aiyedatiwa expressed gratitude to a large crowd of supporters for their unwavering loyalty, stating that their support has strengthened the ruling party’s position in the state.
