APC clarifies that Ganduje was suspended by NNPP affiliates

Published on

The APC clarified on Tuesday that those responsible for the suspension of the party’s National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, are not registered members of the party.

According to APC spokesman Felix Morka, the individuals involved are actually affiliated with the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).

Morka further stated that Ganduje’s suspension is a result of Governor Abba Yusuf’s administration engaging in a campaign of political persecution against him.

He said:

“The perpetrators of this criminal act are not card-carrying members of APC in the ward but are individuals affiliated with senior officials and representatives of the NNPP.

“This act procured by officials of the ruling NNPP in Kano is part of the despicable program of political persecution launched by the administration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf against Dr. Ganduje, a former Governor of Kano state.”
