APC leader criticizes Magnus Abe for remarks on lawmakers stranded.

Published on

Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, has condemned Senator Magnus Abe’s recent verdict on the status of the 27 stranded Rivers lawmakers. Eze described Abe as a politically biased individual who is distorting the Constitution to support his own agenda.

Eze, who was previously the national spokesman for the New Peoples Democratic Party (nPDP), also stated that the recent wave of resignations in Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s cabinet is necessary for a progressive change in the current administration.

Abe had claimed that when he served as a Senator, he and eleven others defected from their original political party to another organization without any consequences. Eze responded by criticizing Abe’s lack of knowledge about the situation, stating that the circumstances surrounding the defection of the 27 lawmakers were significantly different from those that led to their exit from the PDP in 2014.

In summary, Eze criticized Abe’s distorted interpretation of the Constitution and dismissed his comparison to the previous political crisis as unfounded.
