The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has dismissed the All Progressives Congress’s (APC) ambitions of winning elections in Anambra State.
APGA National Chairman, Sly Ezeokenwa, stated that the APC lacks the necessary political structure to succeed in the state.
Ezeokenwa’s statement was in response to APC National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje’s call for party loyalists to bring Anambra into the APC fold, starting with the 2025 governorship election.
The APGA chairman emphasized that the APC does not exist in Anambra State, has no structure, and no elected officials.Victor Oye, immediate past National Chairman and current member of the party’s Board of Trustees, also criticized Ganduje’s ambitions.
Oye found it laughable that Ganduje, whose home state of Kano is controlled by the NNPP, is talking about winning Anambra.
He also noted that Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s second term is already secured with the Supreme Court judgment affirming APGA’s leadership.
