The Enugu State Polytechnic, Iwollo, has elected Arinze Sọlọmọn Ugonnaya as the new Speaker of the Student Union Government.
The election was conducted on Tuesday, during which Arinze Sọlọmọn Ugonnaya emerged as the new Speaker of the Student Union Government.
Arinze Sọlọmọn, a former Senator in the Student Union Government, stated in an exclusive online interview with ESUT Monitor, “This election today clearly showcases the principles of democracy, which I would say is free and fair. I am glad for the smooth process of this election.”
He added, “I may have encountered many hurdles on this path, but that is irrelevant for now, as victory is assured. I extend my humble salutations to the National Association of Nigerian Students Executive, who came around to ensure this election was successful. Glory to God.”
He promised to discharge his duties diligently as the Speaker of Enugu State Polytechnic, Iwollo, and to uphold the trust placed in him to represent the interests of the students.
