The first nomination show for BBNaija Season 9 took place on Monday, resulting in five pairs being put up for possible eviction on Sunday.
The nominated pairs are Beta, Chekas, DoubleKay, Wanni x Handi, and Zinwe, with at least one pair facing eviction during the live show.
In a twist, the show’s organizers introduced new rules for the ongoing season. Host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced that Biggie has eliminated the Custodian Challenge and HOH ballot, stripping housemates of their voting power for the bottom four pairs.
However, the Head of House (HOH) has regained immunity, although they no longer have the power to “save and replace.”
Under the new rules, pairs will nominate each other for eviction, and viewers will hold the ultimate power to decide who stays and who goes through their votes.
