Controversial crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has appealed to singer Burna Boy to secure the release of his colleague, Speed Darlington, who has been detained for 45 days.

Speed Darlington was arrested after suggesting that Burna Boy had an illicit relationship with American music executive Diddy to win a Grammy.

Despite a court order for his release, Darlington remains in detention, sparking mixed reactions online and offline. Bobrisky joined the call for Darlington’s release, stressing that 45 days in detention is enough punishment.

He wrote on his Instagram Story, “Pls Burna Boy, forgive Speed [Darlington]. Pls, prison is not a nice place. I don’t think he has money for a VIP section cos it’s expensive.”
