Bode George, former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has reaffirmed his commitment to the party, stating that he will never leave despite the current leadership crisis.
George believes the party’s strong principles and internal democracy set it apart from others.
He attributed the crisis to individuals who aren’t genuinely committed to the party’s ideology, citing the examples of defected chieftains like Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso.
George emphasized the importance of unity and legacy-building, drawing inspiration from the late Chief Alex Ekwueme’s exemplary conduct.
