Brazilian police have thwarted a plot to bomb Lady Gaga’s concert in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
According to authorities, the suspects were planning to use improvised explosive devices to carry out the attack and gain notoriety on social media.
The police have taken one person into custody in connection with the failed plot. Lady Gaga’s concert, part of her Mayhem tour, was scheduled to take place at the popular Copacabana venue.
The singer had announced the show on her Instagram, expressing her excitement to return to Rio after having to cancel a previous show due to an injury.
