Mr. Joseph Aloba, the father of the late musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has stated that the funeral arrangements for the deceased will be put on hold until the release of the autopsy report and the completion of a DNA test for his grandchild, Liam.
Aloba emphasized the need for the DNA test to establish his grandson’s paternity since he is uncertain about to whom his grandson’s placenta was entrusted. He also affirmed that once these crucial matters are resolved, the late musician’s body will be laid to rest.
He said:
“Mohbad had already been buried by me. They had to exhume his body for an autopsy. And since then, we are still expecting the autopsy result, which is necessary before you can even make any attempt to bury him.
“So we need the DNA and autopsy results. It’s very important. Those are the things that are delaying his burial. After they are sorted, we can make a move.
“We, the family, need the result of a DNA test on Mohbad’s son because, when Liam was born, I don’t know the person they gave the placenta to.”
