Lawyers for Speed Darlington, a Nigerian singer, have expressed their readiness to meet the bail conditions imposed by the Federal High Court in Abuja.
This move comes after the court directed the police to charge Darlington to court within 48 hours or release him unconditionally.
The law firm, Deji Adeyanju and Partners, stated that they would be at the Force Intelligence Bureau with a surety to fulfill Darlington’s bail conditions.
The firm reminded the Deputy Inspector General of Police that Darlington’s continued detention was unlawful.
Darlington’s arrest was linked to an alleged verbal abuse of Afrofusion star Burna Boy, and his counsel confirmed that Burna Boy was responsible for his arrest.
