Burna Boy mocks South Africans for hypocrisy in Miss South Africa contest. Chidimma Adetshina, a Nigerian-Mozambican model, was bullied out of the competition, with many South Africans claiming she couldn’t represent them due to her heritage.
However, the winner, Mia Le Roux, is a descendant of Dutch settlers and is deaf. Burna Boy shared a photo of Le Roux, laughing at the irony that a white winner was chosen after Adetshina’s withdrawal due to backlash from black South Africans.
This has sparked ridicule from Nigerians and other Africans, highlighting the contradiction in South Africans’ actions.
He wrote;
“So after all that… [laugh emoji],” alluding to black South Africans’ attacks on Chidimma Adetshina.
