Burna Boy Shares Why He Deeply Loves Black Women

Grammy Award-winning Nigerian artist Damini Ogulu, known popularly as Burna Boy, has opened up about his admiration for black women.

In a recent interview with Cocoa Butter in Atlanta, Georgia, the ‘African Giant’ hitmaker explained that what he cherishes most about black women is their deep connection to his identity.

Responding to the question, “What is your favourite thing about black women?” Burna Boy said, “First of all, it’s the fact that they are an extension of me.

I must always love myself, so I must love my black women.”

Over the years, the singer has celebrated black women through songs such as ‘Onyeka,’ ‘Omo,’ and ‘On The Low.’
