Chidimma Adetshina, a 23-year-old law student, has been crowned the winner of the Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 pageant.
This victory comes after her withdrawal from the Miss South Africa 2024 competition due to xenophobic backlash over her Nigerian nationality.
Adetshina, who represented Taraba State, emerged victorious among 25 contestants at the grand finale held at Eko Hotels & Suites in Lagos on Saturday night.
Guy Murray-Bruce, President of Silverbird Group, the organizers of the competition, announced her as the winner.
