The Ìgwè elect of Ogugu Ntu-egbenese Ancient Kingdom in Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State, Chief Aloysius Chidozie Ogbonna Jnr, has commended Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for his tremendous infrastructural development in the state.
Chief Aloysius Chidozie Ogbonna Jnr made this commendation on Sunday when he paid a courtesy call to the Honourable Commissioner for Housing in Enugu State, Dr. Martin Chukwunwike.
He stated that Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s recent approval of the sum of N183bn for the construction of 141 roads across Enugu metropolis and 20 rural roads across the three senatorial zones of the state, in addition to the over 80 roads his administration completed last year, has intensified the belief in him as the “talk and do” Governor.
He also stated that Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah is currently constructing a type 2 hospital in Ogugu Ntu-egbenese Community, an act he said has put smiles on the faces of their people.
Chief Ogbonna also used the opportunity to invite the commissioner to the unveiling of the reconstructed, rehabilitated, and furnished Ogugu Primary School by one of their sons and wife , Gidim Ejike Okonkwo, scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 10th, 2024.
He also reiterated the commitment of the Ogugu Ntu-egbenese Ancient Kingdom people in supporting Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s administration.
“The governor’s commitment to infrastructure has reshaped our communities, bringing development to both urban and rural areas,” said Chief Ogbonna. “The hospital project in Ogugu is a clear show of his dedication to our welfare, and we are immensely grateful.”
“We invite everyone to the grand unveiling of the newly renovated, reconstructed, and rehabilitated Ogugu Primary School done by one of our sons and wife, Gidim Okonkwo Ejike.”
“This milestone symbolizes our community’s progress and unity,” he added.
Reacting to the visit, Dr. Chukwunwike congratulated the Ìgwè elect on his electoral victory.
He expressed his happiness with the visit and urged the community to always support the administration of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, adding that the Governor is committed to the welfare of the citizens and that Ogugu, being part of Awgu, will not be left out of the government’s policies and programs.
Dr. Chukwunwike urged all the good people of Ogugu Ntu-egbenese Ancient Kingdom to always support the administration of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah.
He commended the Ìgwè elect for his efforts in bringing development to his people.
